Jason Hughes is a Connecticut native and nationally ranked tennis player who at the age of 12 was number 3 in New England. He currently teaches at the Beverly Hills Tennis Center in Beverly Hill, California.

He was in a coma and paralyzed in a tragic car accident. After a prolonged recovery, he returned to Old Saybrook Senior High as a teacher, tutor, and tennis coach.

He holds a Masters in Holistic Counseling and is a Holistic Health Life Coach. Jason has appeared on the television show "Starting Over" with Life Coach Iyanla Vanzant.
